Hi,

The instant apply feature depends on the tool finding the correct hardware ID, and it is not always simple.
I'll try to release a quick howto on how to find it manually and add a field to enter it manually on the tool, but do not expect it anytime soon, as nowadays I am quite busy...

Powermizer manager uses some registry settings to tweak the nvidia driver, but it does nothing at BIOS level, so I am afraid it is impossible to do what you've got in mind.

Hello,

NVPMM is a Great tool, but I've got a few questions about it:

1. Why can't I use Instant Apply? Does it depend on the Nvidia driver version or something else? I have a Quadro FX 770M adapter (basically 9600M GT).
2. How come the medium performance setting uses the Throttle frequencies/voltage? There are 4 presets in the BIOS, 2D/Throttle/3D/Extra, is it possible to make the medium setting use the "3D" frequencies/voltage?

Thank you!

Great software, worked perfectly with Quadro NVS 110M, before applying the lowest performance state setting with this software, temps topped at 85C after some stress, now they are maximum 70C when running FurMark.

Hi,

Yes, two different GPUs, although the support is quite experimental as I haven't worked in the tool for a long time.

THANK YOU! I've had this problem for so long now.

Not even factory settings were staying on the right clocks. I'm using a GeForce 8600M GT on a Dell XPS M1530. Stock settings are 475 core: 950 shader: 700 mem. They would be about half that when I would launch a game... really sad performance.

now I can finally overclock! Running beautifully!

I'm on the latest Forceware drivers, 285.62 and using EVGA Precision 2.0.4.

This has made a world of difference to my HP Elitebook 8540w. Prior to installing this I was getting strange flickering artifacts, especially with games like warcraft 3 (old game) or watching vids in VLC.

Thank you so much!
